The work is inspired by the legend of the two brothers of Vietri sul mare.In the touching scenery of the Amalfi Coast, right in front of the beach of Marina di Vietri, the Two Brothers raise. A name that remarks the extreme likeness between the two rocks, whose presence in the enchanting sea of Vietri is connected to a legend. Two young shepherds arrived on the beach with their sheeps and were moved by a young lady who was sleeping on the sea. During a sudden storm, the shepherds dove into the sea, trying to save the young lady. But they didn't know that she was the daughter of the God of the Sea, Neptune. Unfortunately, their attempt was useless and the died together with their flock which had followed them. Moved by the brave gesture of the two boys, Neptune transformed the shepherds in two big rocks, the Two Brothers, sorrounded by smaller rocks which remember the sheeps of their flock.
